Carrefour tests fancy pop-ups to reach out to different shoppers

New Carrefour pop up is located in the central Tapinería market, and pursues to connect with urban shoppers target. Nobody expected to find a Carrefour store in this charming and stylish environment placed in the old city center, but the truth is that this innovative point of sale has become a benchmark of creativity and design in the city, thanks to a powerful graphic design on the building facade.

This original point of sale will show clothes and complements, furniture and tableware, summer items and ecological products from this region. The interior is built around three versatile spaces, designed to hold events, as free cookery and decoration workshops, and also allow shoppers to freely touch and test the products before buying.

In the first space, decorated with vintage bikes, you can find a selection of textile spring summer collection 2016. The second space recreates the old Valencian orchards, offering Carrefour Eco products, exposed on fruit boxes and pallets simulating a traditional store. This are has been decorated with dry natural trees, playing with natural-artificial duality, same as the whole space decoration main idea. By last, the third simulates an exotic island, sand included, to expose beach furniture collection.

Carrefour has also transformed the urban environment with natural elements, plants and flowers to convert these spaces indoor into gardens that transmit a sustainable and ecological image. This new selling activity is part of the Carrefour Regional 40th Anniversary celebrations, and will be open during ten days, till April 10.

The distribution company premiered this concept with great public success during last Christmas with the opening of a Christmas pop up store in Madrid city center. Just in one week, this special store was visited by 12,400 people.
